Eating Healthy at ETSU

Providing you with healthy options is something your dining team proudly does every day.  We take pride in serving you wholesome ingredients, preparing recipes accurately, and providing nutritional analysis and ingredient statements through our online menus and nutrition calculator.

We can also assist you in selecting delicious, nutritious and satisfying meals, snacks and desserts by highlighting well-balanced menu choices and tips to help you make choices that fit your needs.

Students may reach out to Bruce Reed, ETSU Dining Service's General Manager, at any point in the semester to request info about the Marketplace or the Treehouse to identify healthy options.  Students may also request an individual nutrition consultation to devise a healthy eating plan.

VegetarianMenu items with the vegetarian icon contain no meat, fish or poultry, or any meat products such as soup base. Our vegetarian offerings meet the needs of lacto-ovo vegetarians and may include eggs and/or dairy products.

VeganVegan offerings contain no meat, fish, eggs, milk or other animal-derived products such as honey.

Students may apply for a meal plan exemption if it is determined that a student’s dietary needs cannot be met.  Exemption requests will be reviewed jointly by Disability Services and Sodexo Dining Services.
