Plan Options

At ETSU, there are two types of meal plans. There are All-Access Dining Plans which allow unlimited meal swipes in the Dining Hall and Pepper’s Grill and a set number of retail meal exchange swipes. There are also Block Plans. These plans come with a set number of meal swipes and are a great option for students who may not plan to eat on campus every day.

Students living in residence halls will receive information about meal plans via their ETSU email, and information will be posted on the housing website. Students living in residence halls are automatically enrolled in the All-Access Silver Dining Plan. Buccaneer Ridge residents and commuter students may purchase an All-Access Dining Plan or Block Plan by emailing and requesting an application from housing@etsu.edu.

All Block Plans and Commuter All-Access Plans are taxable.

  • All-Access Gold


This plan includes unlimited access to the Dining Hall seven days a week, and Pepper’s Grill Monday-Friday. This meal plan includes ten (10) guest meal passes, three (3) meal exchange meals from retail dining locations per week, and $500 dining dollars which can be used in retail dining locations. Students will have the ability to buy additional dining dollars throughout the semester, if they wish to do so. This plan costs $2,540 per semester.

  • All-Access Silver


This plan includes unlimited access to the Dining Hall seven days a week, and Pepper’s Grill Monday-Friday. This meal plan includes ten (10) guest meal passes, three (3) meal exchange meals from retail dining locations per week, and $150 dining dollars which can be used in retail dining locations. Students will have the ability to buy additional dining dollars throughout the semester, if they wish to do so. **This plan costs $2,270 per semester. **This is the required plan for students living in Residence Halls **

  • All-Access Blue


This plan includes 15 meals per week at the Dining Hall, and Pepper’s Grill. This meal plan includes five (5) guest meal passes, three (3) meal exchange meals from retail dining locations per week, and $150 dining dollars which can be used in retail dining locations. Students will have the ability to buy additional dining dollars throughout the semester, if they wish to do so. This plan costs $1,990 per semester.

  • Block 100 + $400 Flex Dollars


This plan includes 100 meals/semester to use at the Dining Hall and Pepper’s Grill. This plan also includes 400 Flex Dollars to use at any on-campus retail location. Any unused Flex Dollars will roll over from fall semester to spring semester but will expire at the end of the spring semester. This plan costs $1,325 per semester.

  • Block 80 Plan + 350 Flex Dollars


This plan includes 80 meals/semester to use at the Dining Hall and Pepper’s Grill. This plan also includes 350 Flex Dollars to use at any on-campus retail location. Any unused Flex Dollars will roll over from fall semester to spring semester but will expire at the end of the spring semester. This plan costs $1,118 per semester.

  • Block 60 Plan + 350 Flex Dollars


This plan includes 60 meals/semester to use at the Dining Hall and Pepper’s Grill. This plan also includes 350 Flex Dollars to use at any on-campus retail location. Any unused Flex Dollars will roll over from fall semester to spring semester but will expire at the end of the spring semester. This plan costs $968 per semester.

  • Block 40 Plan + 350 Flex Dollars


This plan includes 80 meals/semester to use at the Dining Hall and Pepper’s Grill. This plan also includes 350 Flex Dollars to use at any on-campus retail location. Any unused Flex Dollars will roll over from fall semester to spring semester but will expire at the end of the spring semester. This plan costs $824 per semester.

  • Block 20 Plan + 350 Flex Dollars


This plan includes 80 meals/semester to use at the Dining Hall and Pepper’s Grill. This plan also includes 350 Flex Dollars to use at any on-campus retail location. Any unused Flex Dollars will roll over from fall semester to spring semester but will expire at the end of the spring semester. This plan costs $590 per semester.

  • Block 40 Plan


This plan includes 40 meals to be used in the dining hall during operating hours. This plan is only available during the Summer Semester.

  • Block 60 Plan


This plan includes 60 meals to use at the Dining Hall.
